Following the implementation of the Verification of Conformity Programme (VoC) on April 16th, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce, Crafts and SME Promotion has confirmed a three-months period during which Certificates of Conformity could be issued on voluntary basis. Imports arriving at border without the Certificate of Conformity won't be rejected.

This period is implemented to give the opportunity to exporters and importers to familiarize themselves with the VoC programme and its requirements and to reach fast facilitation procedures such as routes B (registration) and C (licensing).
