The "Programme Gabonais d'Evaluation de la Conformité (PROGEC)”, Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) programme, will start on January 1st, 2016, date of arrival of shipment.

All products arriving from this date would have to be subjected to the programme and presented with related certificate for Customs clearance.

Bureau Veritas has been appointed by the AGANOR for the implementation of this verification programme.
Goods to be exported to Gabon will have to assessed prior export and will have to comply with the PROGEC and related technical requirements applicable in Gabon.

Categories of products subject to the PROGEC:
· Machines and appliances, electrical, electronic equipment and their parts
· Civil engineering, products from chemical industry and construction
· Medical and surgical instruments and devices, personal care, cosmetics and toys
