KSQCA (Kurdistan Standardization and Quality Control) has recently added detergents and disinfectants into the ICIGI programme, such as:
- Household detergent powders
- Porcelain Sanitary Cleaning Compound - Solid type
- House hold scouring powder
- Glass Cleaner liquid
- Cleaning compound-rug and upholstery
- Cleaning compound for linoleum - topped furniture
- Domestic detergent paste
- Detergent, general purpose (spray-on, wipe-off)
- Pipeline cleaning compound – Alkali
- Heavy duty cleaning compound, general Purpose
- Oven Cleaner and Grease remover
- Fabric softener
- Sodium Hypochlorite solution
- Calcium Hypochlorite and chlorinated lime
- Porcelain cleaning solution
- Liquid pipe Cleaner
- Liquid detergent for general household uses
- Cleaner General surface liquid (washing glass cleaner, ammonia Free)
- Liquid glass cleaner, ammonia Free
- Gel detergent cleaner (nonabrasive)
- Quaternary ammonium compound disinfectants
- Aromatic disinfectant fluids containing substituted phenols
- Disinfectant detergent concentrate for general use
- Black and White disinfectant fluids
- And others

As per this KSQCA’s decision, any shipment containing detergents and disinfectants that arrive at Kurdistan region borders after the 19th of April 2015, shall need a Certificate of Conformity under the current ICIGI programme for Customs clearance.
