KEBS (Kenya Bureau of Standard) has recently issued a public notice to remind manufacturers, importers, consumers and all other businesses involved in the trade of steel bars of the deadline to brand steel bars which shall comply with Kenyan standard KS 573 for cold worked (high yield) steel bars and KS ISO 6935-2 for Ribbed bars :
