The transitional period under which additional flexibility applies to the programme has been extended until January 1st, 2016 (date of shipment).
The extension of the transitional implementation phase should not be interpreted as an exemption phase from participation.

Indeed, it is reminded that from July 27th, 2015, all consignments that contain products covered by the programme have to present a CBCA Certificate of Conformity or a Certificate of Transitional period (called Certificate Phase 1) at destination for clearance purposes. 
Following this extension, exporters and importers can still benefit from the Certificate phase 1 until the end of 2015.
