According to a recent circular from the MoCI (Ministry of commerce and industry) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the following requirements to the related goods imported into Saudi Arabia have been reminded:

• All electrical appliances rated 50Hz only are not complied with the applicable Saudi standards. The rated frequency of such products shall include 60Hz.

• Products without the marking of Country of Origin or with a misleading Country of Origin are not allowed to be imported.
