The authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have included “SASO 2870: Energy efficiency, functionality and labelling requirements for lighting products part 1” in the list of products which require energy efficiency labels and some lamp types require additional energy efficiency labels, marking, safety and functionality tests as of the 1st of May 2016.
