The Zimbabwean authorities have decided to re-launch the CBCA (Consignment Based Conformity Assessement) programme on July 27th, 2015.

The Implementation of the CBCA programme in Zimbabwe, previously intended to start on May 16th, 2015, was postponed due to administrative and technical issues. 
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Zimbabwe has recently adjusted the implementation phases and removed the valuation and price assessment from the programme. From July 27th, 2015, all consignments that contain the products covered by the programme will have to present a CBCA Certificate of Conformity (CoC) at destination for clearance purposes.
