The Tanzania Bureau of Standard (TBS) has notified that all the categories of motorcycles under HS code heading 87.11 are now subject to the PVoC programme under which parts and accessories of vehicle under HS Code heading 87.14 for the above mentioned products had already been covered.

In addition, it has been confirmed that used motorcycles shall also be subject to the PVoC programme in accordance with the Tanzania standard for motorcycles (TZS 1231 : 2010 Motor Vehicles – motorcycles for general use).
