SCOPE OF DUTIES : SINGLE WINDOW
- Ten-year concession signed with the Ministry delegated by the President of the Republic with responsibility for Maritime Economy, Maritime Transport and Port Infrastructures in November 2010 for the implementation and operation of the Port Single Window
for Foreign Trade at the Port of Cotonou. SEGUB a subsidiary of Bureau Veritas Group operates the system which was implemented in partnership with Soget, a world leader in port single window software provider.
The Single Window (paperless environment with automation of procedures for an easy and accelerated customs clearance of goods) automates, aggregates, optimizes and secures business processes of public and private stakeholders in the Governmental agencies, trade and logistics communities. It facilitates the import, export, transshipment and transit operations through a paperless exchange of documents and automation of administrative, logistics and customs operations, easing compliance of logistics zone (port, airport, land border, ...) with international security and trade facilitation standards.
